What about WordPress?

WordPress is a fantastic resource for quick and easy web development. However for new users it can have a steep learning curve with complicated CSS and themes. To combat this most people use many plugins to get the site to do what they want it to do. The problem with this is that Wordpress and it's plugins need updating regularly in order to stay secure, however because of time constraints or incompatabilities between versions of WordPress and plugins this isn't always possible. This potentially leaves you open to vulnerabilities.

What we suggest is that if you want to use WordPress, you use it locally and then push static files to your webserver. And guess what? We've got a tutorial for that.
